You couldn't find the book or journal in KUG?

General Information

• Examine the spelling of your search terms.
• Use other search terms with the same meaning when searching for a specific subject.
• Search with few words, e.g. a word from the title and the authors surname.
• Use a wildcard (*).

Search in arbitrary catalogs

• Login to KUG and create a catalog profile for any combination of catalogs, that you can use in your search requests.

Books

• Consult the traditional card catalog of the specific library. Unfortunately not all books are cataloged and searchable via KUG.
• Several institutes of the faculty of arts offer a search in their online card catalogs.

Journal article

• Please note that not all libraries enter single articles into their online catalogs.
• Search all electronically available journals of the University of Cologne.
• Take a look at other databases we are offering. They include full texts as well.
